Live your life every day like the zombies are coming tomorrow.

About me

You want to know more about me? I’m David Tyne, a chronically-tired Scottish author — but that’s not exactly breaking any news, is it? How about I talk about who I am, all of the stuff that I like and what I actually want to do in life!

Meet Kass

Don’t be fooled by how sweet and innocent she looks. Kass is a deadly mix of claws and fury, all rolled up into one fluffy package. Honestly, I respect her no-nonsense attitude and I continue to love her more every day.

Friendly warning: If you feed her a piece of tuna loin and give her chin scratches, she will literally leave me and become your new best friend. So watch out.

Travel The World

Did you know being an author is only my second dream? My first has always been to travel the world and visit every continent there is.

It is always a dream come true when I get to see all of these different cultures coming together. I am thrilled to cast a wide net, celebrate my independence and live my life like there is no tomorrow.

Seeing all of these new worlds, it inspires me to write about relevant experiences in my books. Maybe the next place I get lost in will turn out to be my next bestseller!

As you might have guessed, I’m a huge fan of horror. My inspirations are rooted in video games, playing survival horror franchises like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

A raw sense of foreboding, then being left unprepared, defenceless and scared. These are just some of the words that can describe my writing process. But they can also be used for how a good thriller is consumed, too!

I’ve always been a fan of a survival story, especially one that makes me feel more alive. So I started crafting my own — and if you feel that same craving, I hope that my books will give you a small hit of that nostalgia and a slightly comfortable type of unease!
