Daniel Walker went to Edinburgh for a university interview. He left fighting for his life.

Caught in a city-wide blaze of terrorist attacks, Daniel struggles to escape from the swarms of the undead blocking his path home. The further he flees from the armed soldiers and ravenous hunters that roam the streets of Edinburgh, the more he uncovers of what happened to his fallen city. It doesn’t take long to realise that the world he once knew has abandoned all of its laws, its nature and its dignity.

Left with only his wit and his two companions — a shell-shocked student and a lost little girl — he takes on more responsibility than his broken psyche can handle. Will Daniel be able to protect those around him long enough to find his own family? Or will the homicidal hordes known as 'The Lost' swallow what is left of his shattered life?
