Fellow Lost Survivor,
After listening to more of these Telos broadcasts, I’m less convinced that their intel is intended for survivors like us — this is possibly for their ears only.
Despite most of their logs being articles of the past, the Telos Network is still actively pinging to each of their helicopters.
But what is the Telos Network exactly? And how does it work in this day and age?
Hang on. I think I have found an answer within their Telos Transmissions. Here we go!
‣ The Telos Satellite is a state-of-the-art orbital body that acts as the core of our global tracking network, allowing the Telos Military Division to continuously monitor the seas and the remnants of the human population.
‣ This advanced surveillance infrastructure is essential for orchestrating the deployment of our TS Black Hornet helicopters and tracking our Carrier fleets on their field missions.
‣ Our naval assets, such as the T-N-137 submarine, rely on these satellite links to receive live video transmissions and radar updates from our aerial divisions.
‣ We have experienced interference with survivors hijacking our abandoned equipment, using the Telos Network to broadcast their own personal messages. Due to the global scale and level of interference, monitoring specific transmissions is difficult, but not impossible.
‣ Due to a recent incident, we will consider updating our regulations. Telos personnel must refrain from sending indecent images of themselves to their squad mates while on active duty. Inappropriate use of our satellite network will result in disciplinary action.
Sounds fair to me. I understand the Telos Network a little more now!
It’s like Telos’ private version of the internet, for managing their military units and evacuation squads.
At least, that’s how it should be — but with so much data to process under one institute, it’s no wonder they can’t keep the opportunists away!
I miss the days when using the internet didn’t come at such a deadly cost…
